Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Golden Cicada Shells Locations

Golden Cicada Shells are unique collectible item in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty that the player can give to a certain NPC in exchange for rewards. The cicadas can be found inside of chests, given by NPCs or dropped by enemies and bosses in game.

The collectibles guide for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty provides the locations of 21 Golden Cicada Shells in the recommended level order. These shells are necessary for achieving the Ascension achievement and trophy, which requires finding all 21 shells and returning them to the Hermit man atop the tallest tower in Mt. Tianzhushan Hidden Village.

After collecting all the shells, the Hermit man drops a Tablet that is needed for Well-read achievement. The Golden Cicada Shells can be found in the wild as glittering gold loot, and none of them are missable. They can still be found after completing the story during their relevant missions.

• Golden Cicada Shells 2 – Drop down on the bridge next to the second marking flag in (Valley of Crying Wraiths)
• Golden Cicada Shells 3 – In the small village area after the first cave in the (Demon Fort of The Yellow Heaven)
• Golden Cicada Shells 4 – In the hidden village under golden cicada shell trader (Hidden Village)
• Golden Cicada Shells 5 – In the cave after the 4th battle flag (in search of the immortal wizard)
• Golden Cicada Shells 6 – In the opposite side of the first large room in (fall of the corrupted Eunuch)
• Golden Cicada Shells 7 On the roof of the shrine above the last Battle flag in (fall of the corrupted eunuch)
• Golden Cicada Shells 8 – In the trench with the changgui (The Battle of Hulaguan Pass)
• Golden Cicada Shells 9 – Next to second battle flag (Centuries of glory burned away)

• Golden Cicada Shells 16 – From the start drop down and go left and fight a very tough Zhupolong (The Way of The Warrior)
• Golden Cicada Shells 17 – Take a left up the stairs before the final battle flag (Lu Bu Mightiest Among Men)
• Golden Cicada Shells 18 – In the fog, after the changgui walk around and climb a tower and its on a tree branch (Behold The Glaives of Righteousness)
• Golden Cicada Shells 19 – Climb up next to area with two large terracotta soldiers guarding a door (Behold The Glaives of Righteousness)
• Golden Cicada Shells 20 – Found on a ledge next to the 7 large terracotta soldiers (Decisive Battle of Guandu)
• Golden Cicada Shells 21 – At the last battle flag after Yuan Shao boss fight, drop down behind Shitieshou (Decisive Battle of Guandu)
