Modern Warfare Warzone Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle Gameplay & Mid-Season Weapon Changes

Call of duty warzone and multiplayer is getting some big weapon changes in the mid season update like a nerf to the Grau, plus, new gameplay has leaked of the upcoming Rytec AMR sniper rifle.

Let’s break down what we know

Modern Warfare Warzone Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle Gameplay & Mid-Season Weapon Changes

Well start with the changes to weapons coming in a mid-season update.

The info comes from Joe Cecot on twitter when he responded to a tweet saying on a serious note guys, when is the Grau going to be nerfed? At least 90% of the Killcams are from a Grau. Does that not tell you anything? The M4 was nerfed 3 times immediately. The Grau is ruining Warzone right now.

Joe responded with We have a batch of weapon tuning in the works for the mid-season update. Patch notes will outline when they drop 🙂

Of course, not everyone will be happy with changes to the Grau if the twitter comments under this post are to go by, plus usually they don’t usually get the changes right first time.  The 725 needed several updates to get right.

The tweet also does not mention the Grau specifically but is almost certainly gonna be nerfed with other weapons potentially getting buffed.

Also, in season 4 we will see some more new content drop into the game including a new map and more weapons.

One of these weapons is the Rytec AMR sniper rifle, a new sniper rifle based on what seems to be the real-life anti-materiel rifle, the Barrett XM109.

In game the weapon shares similarities with the AX-50 and HDR with the weapon coming under the AX-50 name in the leaked files but its gameplay is quite different.

It sports a fairly quick semi-automatic fire and little recoil compared to the other weapons.

Both the new content and weapon tuning are likely to drop at around the same time, with each season lasting 2 months, expect to see these changes arrive around July 7th .

For a couple of years I covered PUBG updates and then Warzone. Going forward Im focusing solely on making guides for new and upcoming games.
