The Outer Worlds How To Deliver Reeds Message

To deliver Reed’s message in The Outer Worlds, you need to follow these steps:

1. Start the quest “Stranger in a Strange Land” by speaking to Reed Tobson in the town of Edgewater on the planet of Terra 2.
2. Reed will ask you to deliver a message to a group of deserters who have left the town to live in a nearby botanical laboratory. He wants you to convince them to return to work for the town.
3. Travel to the botanical laboratory, which is located to the north of Edgewater.
4. When you arrive, you will meet a woman named Adelaide McDevitt, who is the leader of the deserters. Speak to her and explain that Reed wants them to come back to work for the town.
5. Adelaide will refuse and explain her reasons for leaving Edgewater. She will ask you to help her instead by finding a way to grow crops that don’t rely on the toxic fertilizer that Reed has been using.
6. You can either choose to side with Adelaide and help her or go back to Reed and tell him that the deserters won’t return to work for him.
7. If you decide to help Adelaide, she will give you a quest called “The Frightened Engineer,” which will lead you to an engineer who can help you with the fertilizer problem.
8. Once you’ve completed this quest, Adelaide will agree to talk to Reed and try to work out a compromise.
9. Return to Reed and tell him what happened. Depending on your choices, he may be pleased or angry with you.
10. The quest will be completed, and you will receive your reward.
